months earlier.

With all the
great caters that we’ve been able to do over the past 6 years of existence,
every once in a while we, at Bella Sera Catering, get an opportunity to give
something back to our
community,
and in mid-July of 2008 we were given the chance to donate our time and
talents to a fundraiser to benefit Interfaith Hospitality here in Spokane.
A
grilling demo, dubbed “Hot Off the Grill” was held at an amazing home on the
North Side of Spokane. The
participants were offered some tips and techniques to grilling, along with
recipes and a nice taste of the three dishes served. Fun was had by all, but most importantly a
good amount of money was raised for a wonderful local charity

August 18,
2007: While catering weddings can be a daunting and exhausting task, the
opportunity to cater a 50th Wedding Anniversary in the valley for a wonderful
couple and their children and friends was both an honor and a
privilege. The evening begin with simple appetizers and continued with

the setting for a mid-June soiree celebrating new business ventures.

Community College . These classes get more and more crowded
every season, but are still a lot of fun for the class, and for me!

A surprise celebration commemorating 25 years of work at a local dental
office was the occasion for this early March party. This menu was

2006: A couple of lifelong friends decided to throw a joint birthday party

The Institute for Extended Learning called again to see if we would teach a

The theory behind this menu
was not only to show how to use Springtime flavors and vegetables in Italian
cooking, but also to show how different textures and odd flavor combinations
can be used to make an amazing 6 course meal.

4, 2005: A 40th wedding anniversary party was conceived of by the
7 siblings of a wonderful North Spokane Family. What began as a small gathering of family
soon became a full on reception with 70 adults, and 37 children, all of whom

This is a menu
that I prepared for family and friends back in May of 2001. It is a
simple Italian menu with a little for everyone. This worked out very
well for the guests at this party, two of which were vegetarians. I was
able to take some of the Carbonara aside without the pancetta so they could
eat all but one of the dishes.
